Journal of Sociology and Community Development (J-SocDev) is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to advancing knowledge and fostering interdisciplinary discussions on the sociological dimensions of development. It serves as a platform for scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to exchange ideas, research findings, and innovative approaches to understanding societal changes in the context of global, regional, and local development processes. By focusing on the interplay between sociology and development studies, the journal aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice, offering insights that inform and enhance development policies and interventions globally. J-SocDev: Journal of Sociology Development welcomes contributions from diverse sociological traditions and encourages submissions that challenge conventional perspectives and propose novel frameworks for understanding development dynamics. The journal publishes original research articles, theoretical contributions, case studies, and critical reviews in areas including but not limited to: Social and economic inequalities; Sustainable development and social justice; Urbanization and rural transformations; Community development and grassroots movements; Education, health, and welfare systems; Gender and development; Migration and demographic transitions; Environmental sociology and climate change impacts; and Technology, innovation, and societal change.
