The Journal of Food Security Governance is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal that focuses on interdisciplinary research examining the governance, policy, and institutional dimensions of food security in diverse socio-economic, political, and environmental contexts. The journal provides a platform for critical and evidence-based studies on food security governance, including public policy design, the right to food, political economy, institutional coordination, and multi-level governance, with particular attention to equity, sustainability, and social justice.

The journal welcomes original research that addresses emerging challenges such as climate change and food resilience, resource and land governance, the water–energy–food nexus, poverty reduction, gender and vulnerable groups, as well as food security in crisis and emergency situations. It also encourages innovative contributions on digital governance, artificial intelligence, big data, early warning systems, transparency, accountability, and policy evaluation in food programs. By bridging normative frameworks, empirical research, and policy practice, the Journal of Food Security Governance aims to advance global academic discourse and support evidence-based policymaking toward resilient, inclusive, and sustainable food systems. This journal is published twice a year in June & December. E-ISSN Number: On Process
