Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk Pelatihan Penulisan Opini bagi siswa kelas XII SMA Negeri 2 Kota Batu. Kegiatan ini berangkat dari rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam menulis opini secara kritis, logis, dan sesuai kaidah bahasa Indonesia. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa melalui proses pembelajaran yang sistematis, mulai dari tahap eksplorasi ide, penyusunan draf, hingga penyuntingan tulisan. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi ceramah interaktif, praktik menulis, dan pendampingan intensif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam menyusun opini yang berstruktur, argumentatif, dan berwawasan sosial. Siswa juga menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dalam mempublikasikan gagasannya melalui media massa. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini berkontribusi dalam membentuk budaya literasi kritis di kalangan pelajar dan menumbuhkan keberanian mereka untuk menyampaikan pendapat secara akademis dan konstruktif.
